The Special Interest Groups (SIGs) come together as a team or individual on an as-needed basis to work on special projects. They do not meet on a monthly basis.
Provides the HR community with educational opportunities to advance their professional knowledge and achieve HR certification through HRCI or SHRM.
Promoting the relationship between students studying to become HR professionals, their faculty, and local HR professionals by facilitating networking opportunities. Volunteering as a guest speaker, mentor, and job search advisors to help student members learn more about the human resources industry and/or employment opportunities in the HR field.
We provide the Omaha metro community with educational projects and programs that mutually benefit community employers and the human resources profession.
HR professionals can play a strategic role in helping employers formulate exacting standards for workforce skills, capabilities and attributes that the employer community needs. Local support may include sponsoring or participating in community workforce readiness activities (e.g., job shadowing, mock interviews, speakers for schools, career counseling, etc.).

Connect with other committee members within the HRAM membership. Join the SIG in your profile and you will be added to the community forum and contacted via email when projects arise or help is needed.
