TOPIC:  “COVID-19 and Mental Health in the Workplace”

Dr. Kӓllstrӧm-Schreckengost will identify the key mental health challenges facing employees during this outbreak of COVID-19, and steps employers can take to facilitate continued professional production while employees grapple with working from home during the current pandemic.  She will also discuss employee anxiety about returning to work following the crisis, and how employers can best manage that process from a mental health perspective.  Jessica Kӓllstrӧm-Schreckengost will cover practical considerations and legal obligations under state and federal law to accommodate requests from employees who face mental health challenges during periods of quarantine and in returning to the workplace after COVID-19.

  • Managing anxiety before you return and while back at work

  • Emotional support animals in the workplace

  • Types of conditions and symptoms that might require an ESA or PSA
