Awards

The mission of the Awards Committee is to provide the Omaha Metropolitan Area recognition of projects and programs that are mutually beneficial to HRAM members, their represented employers, the human resources profession and the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Promote awards & scholarship to community & members
  2. Develop procedures & guidelines for awarding scholarship & recognition awards
  3. Oversee judging process
  4. Plan & execute awards & recognition at HRAM Meetings

Committee Goals:

  1. Recruit new committee members.
  2. Responsible for Annual Awards given throughout the year.
  3. Promote awards, event & sponsorship needs through Chamber, local networks and media.
  4. Partner with committees to promote participation with awards and scholarships related to their specific area of interest.
  5. Continue working with sponsors and increase sponsor revenue.
  6. Fine-tune award application and selection process. Develop a policy & procedure manual for each award/scholarship.
  7. Recognition of award/scholarship recipients- this includes adding winners to the HRAM website.
  8. Increase recognition efforts for HRAM volunteers to include but not limited to the Key Contributor Event.
  9. Identify and support the submission of a Pinnacle Award entry.
  10. Create a survey for February/March meeting to ask members why they are not volunteering to serve.
